Where was it stated that sasukes preta requires hand contact? That's BS, sasuke just happened to be close to Naruto and not only that but madara and sasuke using preta were two different cases. Madara absorbed a long ranged jutsu. But sasuke was just simply trying to absorb the kyubbi chakra that was building up in Narutos body. You fail.

Plot purposes obviously. Since when does preta only have one use. It can absorb from close range and it can absorb from long range attacks. Kyuubi even mention that sasuke could have absorbed it but he obviously wasn't thinking straight. He also mentioned that sasuke wasn't YET good enough to absorb AND cast jutsu at the same time. So he told Naruto not to worry. Try harder.

Already had this discussion with you. Naruto kyuubi avatar that fought sasuke was rikudo enhanced. You can't compare that to a mindless 100% kurama. And don't try to act like rikudo chakra can't enhance a PS or bijuu avatar because Kakashis PS is the perfect example. He mentions rikudo chakra enhancing it.
