I am a Sasuke fan (obviously) but Naruto is my third favorite character. My main complaint against Naruto is that he is an unrealistic character. All the things you listed are admirable traits but no one is perfect enough to live up to them all of the time, except Naruto evidently.
1. This has failed a couple times (Sasuke, Raikage (then again Sasuke will eventually get tnj followed by Raikage)) but anything that is effective 95% of the time is incredible. my problem with this is that character development should be done over several stages, not just one incident and they changed. Zabuza's tnj is the only one that I think was very well written because they were several stages. Gaara's comes second. Pain's was very bad. This brings me to my second criticism. Naruto never gets tnj. He's never wrong. His ninja way is the best. This is also unrealistic.

3. This one I'll have to completely disagree with. Yes, this is where the manga is heading but it is so unrealistic. One person (at the age of 16) can't realistically get everyone to change their views. Escpially, when said views are so idealistic. Everyone should not rely on him. Everyone should rely on their own light. If the rely on an external light, then that light will eventually go out. They need to learn to rely on themselves. Naruto can't live forever.
He's not realistic at all but something to strive to be. I prefer realism over that which is why I prefer Sasuke. That being said, I do genuinely like Naruto. I find it difficult to hate him but I have some criticisms.
yeah i agree with you for some points but naruto suffered alot and his whole village hated him in past for no reason thats why naruto is capable of understand someone who also suffered like naruto
and naruto character is not unrealistic and completely perfect ... did you Forget when neji died naruto shocked that how someone who naruto wanted to protect is now dead ?
when shikamaru was near to death and other shinobis killed then naruto was sad because too many shinobis died in front of naruto but eventually his guts and his ''will'' helped him to stood up against obito again
naruto words were not always
perfect but naruto learnt these words from his sufferings and from his fellows just like in
the case of itachi , itachi told naruto that
''nobody can do things alone forever thats why sometime you have to rely on your comrades''

main theme of naruto series is that ''people are not bad by themsevles but conditions and circumstances in their lives made them bad as in the madara's life his own clan mates didnt acknowledged him and he didnt became a hokage and In obito's life rin was killed in front of his eyes and kakashi & minato couldn't able to save rin
