I sincerely did not expect Nick to show Tarrlok's suicide. That was the golden moment of the series for me.

Technology advanced man. Do you not remember the inventions during Aang's time? The time period is done well IMO.
Yeah that was my favorite part as well. And I know technology advances its just not the same for me. I guess it makes it to sci-fi for my taste. I'm just use to the weird breed of animal running around and ancient art etc.. Next thing you know we'll have a season when robots take over

But Aang did master the Avatar state? he just barely used it until he fought the fire lord, the monk at the southern air temple showed him how to unlock all his chakras and even though he didn't unlock the last one until later he got full control of the Avatar state, sadly I haven't been watching Korra, I've seen a few episodes but personally I like The Last Air Bender better

serriously there needs to be an evil avatar
Not arguing with that. Maybe the Avatar cycle will be destroyed by Evil Avatar.

Almost like that demon in the last airbender that steals faces. I would like to see that Avatar in action and the story on how his wife lost her face. Going off topic... :|

Truuuuuuuu.

I cannot argue with the series being rushed, but what plot holes did the finale create?
Not just plot holes but many inconsistencies
1. How exactly is amon able to take away bending. They mentioned it is tied with bloodbending but what is the process?
2. Yukone breaks out of jail and gets facial reconstruction surgery? Then goes to the north pole and marries a random water tribe woman? Really?
3. How was korra able to airbend? The base of airbending is built on tranquility and peace. Tenzin said you cannot force airbending, that you have to "be the leaf". The way that korra airbends, she's not doing anything she hasn't already done. She bends just like she bends the other 3 elements. She never changed to "fit" airbending. To fit it's form, and what it means . Airbending changes for her. Korra airbended because the writers ran out of time to give her a breakthrough in practice. It happened because it had to, not naturally like Aang when he learned bending.
4. Inconsistencies in korra's character- She was supose to learn airbending and it teaches her to be more patient, and to also become more analtyical. To think about your situation. Korra never started developing that. She rushed to expose mon and when that ddn't work, she found herself surrounded by all of those equalists. Here we are a the season finale and she's still making those same mistakes she made at the beginning of the season. There's no development.
5. Mako-need I say more.

It's always intresting to recollect what just happen as the series is reaching to the start of season two. And as always Avatar: Legend Of Korra holds nothing back as like its prequel Avatar: The Last Airbender. What makes this series so memorable is because it gets to the story quickly without the added details that purposely drag out the story. It's great how the season one came strong and end smoothly with a great ending. Like the past Avatar episodes this hold the same aspects we all expected from the past seasons with an added twist.

As far as I know we won't be seeing Amon (Noatok) again.
And there's nothing to worry about that. Keeps the story fresh and we can look forward to something fresh and new. As there are more writers contributing to the story and more progression at Korra leads republic city to the center of balance in the world. Also the music was amazing at the death of Tarlock and Noatok!

What I believe is Korra will progress to the spirit world and it will lead to inner past avatar states and maybe lead to the mastery of her avatar state that Aang could not master. I doubt that would happen though.

So lets continue watching the show shall we?
You make it sound like TLA was dragged out, which really wasn't the case and the reason as why LoK went so fast is extremely simple: it had to end without leaving any unanswered questions behind for the case there wouldn't be a next season. It's purely something practical. In the case there wouldn't be a 2nd season, having a first season that's based on the assumption that there would be a 2nd season, you get a messed up story and they wanted to see whether LoK would be popular enough to make a 2nd season.

Many people complained it got rushed, I personally had no issues with it, though TLA was not dragged out and neither was LoK intentionally made with a fast pace just for the sake of not going into detail, but just because they had no other option.

And Aang mastered the Avatar State. I don't really get why you say he didn't and Korra pretty much mastered it too. At least she can go in an out of it without much trouble as one of the things that has been released about the next season is that it starts with Korra holding an air-scooter race with Tenzin's kids and uses the Avatar State to win. The more spiritual side of the Avatar stuff she still needs to work on probably, which is also what the next season was supposed to be about.
