Naruto's version of peace is having everyone be friends. Cooperation. He doesn't have any other plan, he doesn't know that it's unachievable, he doesn't know that everyone's opinion is needed. From their persepectives of changing, only one is wrong to a point.
You see Sasuke had an easy-fix to the meaning of peace/cooperation among the people. Though would that have worked? He invoked the true realism of Indra, being alone, or wanting to be alone. We know from past failures that his plan would never work as easy as it sounded. We could go on about it, but it is a realistic plan from Sasuke's viewpoint now that he had achieved power.
Unlike Sasuke, Naruto realizes that "peace" or "stability" is not an answer one can come up with at the moment. He understands that the views of a single shinobi matter just as much as an entire village does. He needs the cooperation of each shinobi, and he also seems to know that there are no shortcuts that are needed to be taken to find this "peace" that he was entrusted with.
Sasuke was the peace from the manga's perspective that seemed like an easy way out, a fix, but not a mentally stable one.
Naruto's version of peace from a manga's perspective is incomplete, yearning, and growing. That is why it is so MUCH more realistic than that "easy-fix". Because, you cannot solve an answer such as this overnight.
Darkness will exist with light, and love will only breed hatred. It's dependent on how far they can go, to this unsolvable answer.
Be friends? Naruto’s version of finding peace involved everyone’s cooperation together, no where did it state they have to be buddy buddy, but to cooperate; act jointly; work toward the same end.Naruto's version of peace is having everyone be friends. Cooperation. He doesn't have any other plan, he doesn't know that it's unachievable, he doesn't know that everyone's opinion is needed.
Does he have to answer Sasuke’s question to not understand what Sasuke believes is incorrect? Naruto flash backs to the Itachi conversation, and he remembers the words Itachi told him when Naruto thought he could handle the War Arc ALONE. Why does everyone bring up the Nagato ordeal to tie it in with the Sasuke revolution? Do you not realize that the boy woke up just after the Pain fight and was given this duty to find this peace by his predecessors? Do you think he has had time to thoroughly think out a plan that involves every single living being in the entire Naruto World to conjunctionally solve their problems/worries in which will lead to minimum stability? You make it sound like he didn't answer Sasuke's questions because he thinks it can't be done, but the truth is he just doesn't know how and keeps saying he'll somehow do it. It's the same as when he talked to Nagato. He promises things supposedly to be his word that he'll fullfill for them, yet does nothing. To promise something you know isn't achievable is contradictory, so why would Naruto promise it if he was really thinking what you're portraying him to be thinking?
He damn well ignore those ideas/opinions of those who harm the ninja world. Yet show me Naruto TALKING to someone about their plan for the future, in which it does not involve harming the people that live in this world. What Naruto does is ignore everyone else's opinion if it doesn't agree with his own. You think that he's going to listen to others when he purposefully ignored everyone and decided not to kill Obito, or Sasuke?
What on earth are you spouting about Lol? He said he did not quite understand Kaguya, he felt as if she had lost her humanity, and also comparing her to his mother Kushina in how they both are different (one has love, one doesn’t).Heck, he was going to kill Kaguya just because she wasn't relatable to him, but no, "I can't kill Obito because he wanted to be Hokage, like me". He even told his own child to endure, basically telling him he has to go through what he himself did.
Does that look like peace to you, though? How long will that last after the generation ends? Peace will need the involvement of every single living creature in which they will be bind by a will of hope and preparation for the future. Cooperation. You say that he knows peace isn't automatically achievable, but you know what? Chpt. 700 shows that it was done. How was it done? Through cooperation.
He already gave his insight on a part of it on chapter 698, through working together with the entire shinobi world, instead of inflicting single thoughts by yourself hoping to start some kind of dictatorship without first asking the people FIRST. That’s the differences between both ideas. Did Sasuke/Madara/Obito ever ask the people how they viewed the world? How to change it? No, they were molded by hate, and transformed their thoughts into singular prospects. That’s what makes Naruto’s more undefinable answer of teamwork/cooperation with the entire world.Like I said, that's Naruto's answer, that's it. He doesn't have some amazing insight about it, just as he doesn't have some amazing insight about everything else.
Kishi tried to make it seem like cooperation was going to be the answer to everything and expected us to believe it with the BS in 700.
So then we agree that he has no insightful answer. His answer is having everyone cooperate.Be friends? Naruto’s version of finding peace involved everyone’s cooperation together, no where did it state they have to be buddy buddy, but to cooperate; act jointly; work toward the same end.

It’s one thing to know how to solve the World’s hunger, but it’s another to act upon it.
The answer is; There is no insightful answer to peace. The only logical solution for anyone to achieve that supplement of peace is for the world to conjoin as a single unit, rather than spreading out. That's what caused wars in the first place; Rivarly, secrets, etc.,So then we agree that he has no insightful answer. His answer is having everyone cooperate.
That's a double standard. He told Nagato that he would find the answer, but did he ever state that he would start preaching his Messiah to the world once he found out? One step at a time, one step at a time. Now you're making excuses for him. Did he make the promise or not?
Did he answer the questions? Sasuke is definitely powerful enough to do it alone though, Naruto could have won the war by himself too, if he had RSM.
Sasuke had already placed the Nine Tailed Beasts into a genjutsu, and committed the act of saying he would kill ever single Kage before him. Did he sound like he was in the mindset to being preached by Naruto on how his thoughts were wrong? How many times has the Naruto/Sasuke parallel them as equals who cannot understand eachother with words alone? It's more spiritual than anything I have seen in a 'bromance' of this caliber. Re-read chapter 694 in which NARUTO does try to push him from his idea, but it was already too late for that at this point. Sasuke was too far gone into his revolution idea. What? He was talking with Sasuke and instead of telling him why he was wrong or how he's going to fix things, he tells him that he's wrong because he doesn't want Sasuke to be alone. There he put Sasuke above everyone else. You think people would want Sasuke to survive? Not to mention he wouldn't even be able to release IT.
]Kakuzu and the guy who was an Itachi clone are better examples, I guess.
It was peace, why else would TenTen say it was? I agree though, it's temporary and that's why Naruto's way was wrong. You'd think he'd know from all the previous Ashura failures.
Simple minded? At time yes.Naruto has no insightful answer like you say, he's a simple minded character that thinks everything is going to be ok through cooperation.
Answers in bold. The answer is; There is no insightful answer to peace. The only logical solution for anyone to achieve that supplement of peace is for the world to conjoin as a single unit, rather than spreading out. That's what caused wars in the first place; Rivarly, secrets, etc.,
That's the only reason for why I would think Naruto wanted everyone to 'work together to solve this problem.'
I agree that they have to be one. You're wrong in thinking Naruto accomplished that though. Naruto didn't change a thing in the system, people still kill for money and the nations are all separate. Naruto is wrong for thinking that everyone can live happily and work in cooperation when these things are still going on.
That's a double standard. He told Nagato that he would find the answer, but did he ever state that he would start preaching his Messiah to the world once he found out? One step at a time, one step at a time.
How? Seriously? How else is peace going to be achieved? Is he going to telepathically tell everyone? Is he going to wait for years to do so?

I'll admit that it was idiotic of me to think that Naruto wouldn't try to stop him. Otherwise I disagree, Sasuke was giving out points and telling Naruto why this was needed, he was still calm and, in is mind, this was the only way. Naruto could have told him that he had another way, but he didn't have one.
No. Naruto's way is the only way. For peace can only last long for the future, if they continue to cooperate past the limits of Naruto/Sasuke in which shinobi pass down and accept their will, it can last certaintently. There is no salvation from hatred, even Sauske's plan was foiled from underneath. The only thing to truly savor this "peace" that was stated in the manga, is for everyone to begin to want that change, which seems to be slowly growing to that idea in Chapter 700. In which every shinobi is ready to work together, but not as shinobi. As people.
Naruto himself never asked anyone, so I don't understand why you would ask that.
Sasuke didn't do it out of hatred though. Naruto's way isn't what you make out be. He hasn't changed anything in the system and expects people to be friends. That's why I keep saying it's not a good plan. People aren't going to cooperate when they get paid to kill each other. Had Naruto actually changed the system and united the villages, then i'd agree with you.
Simple minded? At time yes.
Naruto tries to see from other perspectives. For instance, just as Naruto tried to kill Nagato out of vengeance, he thought about Jiraiya's words and he tried to see if he can change his utter thought on the ordeal of Nagato's plan. He then stops and listen to his story, rather than acting on impulse.
Jiraiya, who has the same ideals.
The same is said with Sasuke. Even though he wanted to stop Sasuke, he did not want to do it when Sasuke was at that state of improper mentality.
I. I never said that Naruto accomplished the peace. I remember stating a few times that he is still striving for it, but I doubt it is possible in a single lifetime. Ya know?Answers in bold.
apparently, a lot of NB members:hmm:Apparently he has the most "realistic reactions to stress ". Which i dont understand. Who goes reading a manga with fake characters looking for realism?
Sasuke never interested me. He had cool fights and what not but thats about it.
Obito is the most dynamic Uchiha.
Ok. Naruto had an answer, and his answer was shite. Don't start saying Naruto knew it was impossible and that he knew it wouldn't happen in his lifetime.I. I never said that Naruto accomplished the peace. I remember stating a few times that he is still striving for it, but I doubt it is possible in a single lifetime. Ya know?
II. There are no shortcuts as Naruto said to Obito. Yes, it's going to take years. An empire is not build in a night, same goes with peace. Sasuke was right, the world was too evil, and it's going to take much good to rewrite such sins
III. Naruto didn't have an answer like you said. Would you? I wouldn't. Not that young, not at that time, because if he had told Sasuke a "plan" and did not follow through with it. Wouldn't he be a liar? I like the whole not answering the question, because what does that NARUTO even know about solving the worlds problems?
Even Sasuke at the end needed to see the world for how it was because he himself did not know it. He had to venture and travel, discover, and learn so that he could better help shape the future with Naruto. To repent for his sins, or at least that's the gist from what I got in his retribution stage.
Yes, Jiraiya is the main influence in this peace. His book which Naruto has read probably shaped him, but Naruto probably realizes that this true peace is nonsense. That the only way to to stop this is to destroy the ninja system, which Naruto has not done yet. Something on that caliber would take time, the only FAST way to do that, is to kill every single shinobi, and to destry every piece of their culture.
So you can understand why that is seemingly impossible. One step, just one step.
Anyway good discussion bro.
What the hell are you talking about lol?Ok. Naruto had an answer, and his answer was shite. Don't start saying Naruto knew it was impossible and that he knew it wouldn't happen in his lifetime.
OMG! I will rep you now, for saying this and I forgot that fact too!his hair and good looks
damn, its been a long while since ive read such a majestic post. + rep to you good sir, this post is a thing of beauty.I could write novels about this, which i did in my early days here...
For now, i'll settle with:
1. He is without a doubt the character with the most development in the entire manga. A sweet little kid aspiring to surpass his brother, a standoffish but caring boy, a grown teenager hellbent on revenge, a drowned in darkness maniac, a person that continues to seek answers, a resolute revolutionist, and finally - his true self.
2. Sasuke was never a one-sided person and yet was the most focused on his goals character. His objectives was always what drove him, but he also had a ''second layer'' that defined him. The best example is him repeating that he'd do anything to stay alive and kill Itachi, yet was ready to die for Naruto and Sakura without a second thought.
3. He is a realist. He's the classic ''results trump the means needed to achieve them'' person, something with which i strongly agree with. His mindset allows him to look at the bigger picture instead of relying on pipe dreams.
4. Sasuke does things his own way. He refused to kill Naruto for MS, he doesn't do missions, doesn't capture Bijus, isn't bound for long by any common objective of a faction he's been in - Konoha, Sound 4/Orochimaru, Akatsuki. He made his own team, reminiscent of his previous one (making it all the better), and started following following his path.
5. A complete badass that doesn't take sh*t from anybody.
