I prefer speed over straight power so Minato was an easy choice, plus the dude looks badass with the 4th coat on, his general character design, and the fact that throughout almost everything his demeanor was cool as a cucumber lol

I likes neji in part one for his fighting style, but his personality was ashole-ish. I liked Darui because of his laid back attitude, storm release, his sword, and laziness but when determined he gets serious. (I'm hella bias to sword people:lol)

I liked Kakashi's attitude and mystique, he used to be ANBU and he was kind of a loaner failing all his students and such. I liked his backstory and how it shaped his personality.

Then his use of lightning. That's my favorite element of the NV. Plus he's fast for an elite Jonin. I'm glad his story got closure... Hell he even became Hokage and probably had the shortest and most uneventful term in their history XD

Tsunade became my fav the moment she first threw down in the series against oro. I have several favs though it's so hard to choose. But I think Tsunade really is my top favorite.

For both Shikamaru and Utakata (I can't pick), i'd say it's just how carefree they are. I also like how Shikamaru relies on his intelligence rather than the (little) strength he does have.
