Something's wrong with you. I suggest you go to the Doctor's and get checked... Orochimaru was menacing. Obito, although he is my favourite could not put fear into anyone. He was so predictable (but enjoyable) after the reveal. The Pain arc was amazing as well but not as good as those two arcs, imo.
Finally, a true Obito fan that understands other villains.

Being as Naruto and Sasuke are he main characters, they completely won because of plot. Also, outside of gaining BM, Naruto had to train all throughout Part II (can't say the same about Sasuke).

no sh*t we knew they were gonna win but it was HOW they were gonna win that made it great! since the beginning of part 2 we've known how naruto and sasuke were gonna win rasengan/chidori and thats it nothing else. literally since the beginning of part 2 all we've been given is rasengan with shadow clones from naruto and chidori spam from sasuke until he got his new eyes which made it even worse because now he doesn't even pull off cool moves he just hides inside his susano and spammed amaterasu

Well, I suppose it's based on which characters you like, and not much else. I've always been for Naruto and Sasuke, and thought the rest of K-11 to be, more or less, a waste of time. Also, with the idea of Naruto fighting his foil to prove his nindo, he was doing he exact same thing during the Ten Tails Revival Arc.

I'm not denying that at all, but it was much more impactful back then because it was the first time we ever saw it. Also it was a one on one fight, more personal than the Obito fight was.

I loved it, cause you met new characters that would eventually become part of the story in the future. Not only you saw some of their abilities but you got to see them fight each other, people got hyped and it was intense. When I read them, it was amazing i couldn't stop reading it over and over. The story was well written. And there was a sense of mystery like, what is that character going to do next or i wonder what his ability is. It started the premise of shinobi combat for the story. Nothing like that has happened since. (in the naruto manga)

No, the part two fights were barely interesting.

Now that you elaborated (beyond an insult), I can respond properly. I, personally, never found Orochimaru menacing, I felt that either Pain or Madara was the more menacing villain, and liked Obito because I could relate to him.

The most common reason you will hear will be "nostalgia", however personally if I were a new watcher and I watched the exams/bloody mist arc and the war arc, I'd notice a significant decrease.

They were the best arcs of Naruto. But that's basically like saying that you went to a party full of obese women and then banging the one chubby girl. No one would say that's a good thing.

I was just kidding about the doctor thing, didn't mean to offend. Orochimaru became really lame in part two, that's for sure but he was a beast in part one. Remember when Sasuke couldn't even move because he was scared of Orochimaru? I thought that was so awesome, and when Hiruzen found out that Orochimaru became immortal on the rooftop, that was amazing too. Also, Zabuza's silent killing was really appealing for me, and Kakashi just made it even better in that arc.

I felt it was fun to watch, I'm not saying the arcs suck, I was just getting sick of people putting down recent arcs like Invasion of Pain and the War Arc in favor of them, it was getting rather old. Also, while I barely even like Madara, him killing Naruto and Sasuke in two issues caught my attention.

That's why Shippuden pisses me off. Shippuden ruined a lot of characters like Gaara, Neji and Naruto definitely.

I also disagree that people say War Arc sucked ass becuase they think War Arc is still ongoing. It stopped years ago.
Thing is. Part of madara being revived with edo tensei's untill Tobi's Reveal where deffinitly one of my favo parts.

I can see how Shippuden ruined Neji, but how did it ruin Gaara and Naruto?
I liked the cool Gaara that was to himself, never talking to anyone or being social, and didn't make lame speeches about saving his friends and the world. Even valley of the End Gaara that fought Kimimaro was awesome. He just came out there and saved Lee in a cool, yet badass fashion. It's like Shippuden is taking part one characters and turning them into Naruto fanboys. Why can't these characters just act like they normally do without ruining their natural original creation, while still fighting on the side of good? Part 2 Gaara gets on my nerves honestly.

The only character that seems to act the same from part 1 would be Kakashi.

I don't need to explain Naruto, do I?

How was. Naruto ruined, oh no, he tires to redeem and understand his enemies, true heroes kill all who stand in their way, lmao, dat American logic.

Part 1 Naruto also tried to do that, so your response is canceled.

The difference between part 1 Naruto and part 2 Naruto is that Naruto actually trained to get stronger for the title of hokage. Part 2 Naruto has been all about Sasuke and his acceptance. How bland.
