What made Boruto's Rasengan special or different?

I just got around to watching the Boruto Movie. Boruto tosses a piddly Rasnegan at Shinipoopoo, and it disappears and then blows up on his arm.

Sasuke then states, "Boruto's Rasengan changes its chakra nature".

What the hell does he mean by this? All I saw was it disappear and then suddenly explode. What is changed about the chakra nature?

Oh, and another little thing; why the hell is Boruto handling TBB Rasengans like it's nothing?

The novel said it suddenly turns into wind nature, that's what causes it to disappear but the novel really isn't canon. so idk.

It's calls upon the power of Ashura and Hamura, Ashura add wind nature, Hamura using air palm to move it, Minato joins in and teleports it with his FTG.

nature is form, and his rasengan changes into a form the naked eye cant see, it makes sense
also he could handle it because naruto and his chakra were helping him
