He treated him more like a step child he didnt want. Itachi could MAYBE be also. May have been why it was so easy to agree to killing his parents cause really, what kind of threat would their mother have been if she was left alive to raise Sasuke? Itachi couldn't offer any reasons to the elders as to why his mother didn't have to die? Also, have we seen a female sharingan user? I dont think I have but I could be wrong. Off topic. Obviously we saw Madara with Obito in the cave alive but barely. He had plenty of "experimentation-time" to whip up some genetic material and then use a genjutsu to seduce Sasuke's mother. OR he gave her an infinite pleasure tsukyomi! Should I add that I am being serious? Cause I am. Due to plot, Madara may very well be Sasuke's father. Saying that he gave Sasuke ample opportunity to do something and pausing in saying that you may have to sacrifice even your own child.....yeah, it's possible. Grandfather is another, less awesome, possibility. Then he could just be saying it because Sasuke is related in someway...which, duh! A more direct line would fall into the Narutoverse story line better. Like how Konohamaru is able to do a double rasengan because the Third was his grandfather...and he tried really hard too I guess. Also, to say that women wouldn't be all over the "mass murderer" Madara is just plain ignorant. Women love a bad boy. The badder the better! Think Ted Bundy on death row. Hundreds to thousands of women wanted (and had) him while he was in prison, knowing that he slaughtered and butchered young girls across the country. So I would bet Madara had all kinds of tricks to turn.
