So I would say chunin level.

If we go by Shikamaru's words and logical analysis theyd be Tokujo. Jonin in one aspect/skill(speciality) and chunin in other aspects.

That's why I said Tokujo Tokubetsu jonin. They have Jonin like ability is one of the 3 (nin/gen/thaijutsu). Tayuya would be jonin level in genjutsu, Kidomaru in distance combat etc, Sakon and udon unique kekkei genkai, Jirobo not so much.

overall Gai is bellow genin ;dd but his Taijustsu is so great that it makes him jounin lvl with gates he is on Kage level and with 8th gate even beyond that.

Apparently i was wrong about Shikamaru considering Tayuya Jonin level but that's not how the bold works because by that logic, Kurenai, Gai, Neji and even Lee would have been tagged special Jonin.

True however there are exceptions to the rule, Kurenai has other skills of a high level. Gai and more so Lee are exceptions to the rule. Anyway I'm pretty sure that's how Tokujo works that's why they're lower than jonin, you could call them high chunin and low Jonin.
