What laptop is better, Dell or HP?

I'm going to buy a new laptop soon and I'm considered dell and hp, which one do you think is better?

I personally don't give a sh*t though cause I'm a Microsoft/HP fanboy.

Personally I think you should try another brand like toshiba or something, I don't know anyone whose had a good experience for longer than a couple of months with either of those laptops. Out of the two though I guess Dell?

Agreed. Apple is overpriced and under-performs with PCs of comparable price. It is shiny though. =D

Also, Windows 7 is the way to go if you can. Although I hear Windows 8.1 will fix a lot of the "omgwtfbbq" of Windows 8
