Although, the main hero type of guys are quite cool: Luffy, Naruto, Goku, Hashirama etc

Charakters who are anti heros, emotional, have substance. I always like the antagonists aswell, don't know why been like that since I was a little kid =D. But it's not like I only like these kind of charakters. I like the protagonist aswell, well most of the time and cool, intelligent and relaxed characters.

I personally like those that have a disturbing aura about them. An unspoken but powerful feeling... With a certain style to them. Frieza, Orochimaru, Medusa, are all prime examples

Characters with some good back story, and some ideology, even if they are villains, like Light Yagami, Itachi Uchiha, Nami, Ishida Uryuu etc, and few bad-ass characters like Tobirama, Hitsugaya, Zoro etc...=D=D

Dunno why I tend to like the powerful "villains" U_U Not really a fan of main characters.
