I would say by birth for a bigger plot twist but kaneki was by experimentation so that's a probability

i think OEK is just a title. like there is no one person who's always been OEK.

arima being the one eyed king would be possible but the small side series they did when arima was younger debunks that idea because the OEK is supposedly really old if it was indeed 1 person all along

The only thing I don't want to happen is Mitsuki being captured, tortured and turned into a badass. I mean, the time is right (ch.60-64), Mitsuki is a splitting image of Anteiku Kaneki, he's fighting a losing battle, and Ishida loves his parallelism.

Back in chapter 142-144~ I believe of TG, Kaneki went to the v14 tunnel. On the way, he was going to go unconscious (presumably), but Hide found him. Hide told him something along the lines of "I need you to fight with all you got one more time" and then Kaneki woke up with Hide missing, soon engaging with Arima.

Since Arima seems to be a part of V, I think Hide might be a part of V too.
