Because I would rather be ignorant and happy, than wise and depressed. Ignorance is bliss. I become annoying from time to time, with my baby like voice and juvenile remarks, but i'd rather be the happy and friendly person I make myself out to be, then the profound, dark soul that I truly am on the inside :sdo3: the dark part of me that has a low tolerance for idiocy, and will insult you 10 times in one sentence, is the most snide, derogative, and uttermost subtle way, leaving you mildly confused and questioning your very existence. Who I truly am is a genius, whose mind reaches depths in which you cannot even begin to comprehend. I have potential to be a great ruler, and evil genius, a dark mastermind. I could rule the world with my endless capabilities. But, i'm indolent, and find it much easier to float around in my world of ignorance.

I'm quite the opposite of you.

I'm a quite shy, reserved person. It takes a while for me to get to know a person and trust her to a certain degree.
I don't open up to people, i usually keep my problems to myself and only myself can solve them. I don't like depending on other people.
I consider myself a loyal friend, i'll do whatever it takes to help my friends be it in an emotional or social way.
I only speak to people who are worthy of my words, i'll avoid conversation with cocky people who think themselves as superior or people who i feel uncomfortable with.
I try to avoid being rude to everyone to a certain degree. I absolutely love to laugh and make others laugh.

I guess i can say that i'm a very prideful person when it comes to personality.

Logical thinker. Hate feeling like I'm in debt to people. Introvert. Takes a while to get my trust but when you do. I'll do anything for you. If you backstab. You'll more than likely never get it back.

I value loyalty more than anything else. I also tend to joke about 90% of things. Just helps me get through the day tbh. I prefer a small circle of close friends I know I can trust and depend on no matter what.

Me, I'm a type that wears my heart on my sleeve. I'm impassioned, intense and profound.
I open up to new people incredibly fast. I never sugarcoat how I feel and am often humorously blunt.
I honestly don't care who knows how I truly feel. I deeply care about everything.

There are only a few things I'm not passionate about. I'm either passionate and deep into something or I completely don't care. No middle ground at all. When I do find my passion, I'll fight endlessly for it; be it for someone or something. My intesity doesn't necessarily always manifest itself as pure aggression though. I tend to be very smart about it, very calculating.

When I speak, I do it concisely and with conviction.
I never ever ever say anything that I don't absolutely mean. I speak well, coherent and my words carry weight.
I'm idiotically sincere. I'm never a bullshitter when it comes down to it. When I speak, I mean it, be it positive or negative I'm always sincere.

Do you ever reveal your true self to people? If not, what's stopping you; and do you ever wonder what people would think of you if they really knew what's underneath?

I don't like small talk either, I find most people I encounter in life think on a very surface level. Not that there is anything wrong with it, I try to have small talks even though it feels like I'm putting on an act. It's forced and almost never genuine. I'm positive towards people but I'm an extreme person, in whatever I do I'm either all-in or all-out. I can never commit to half efforts.

I am rarely ever serious, I always play around, whether It's at work,school or home I always pull pranks on everyone.I like deep conversations and dislike small talk although start a few ones myself as it's often the easiest route. I strongly dislike snakey people and drama queens. I hate being told to do things with a passion especially outside of a profession. I am generally honest when it comes to what I think and NEVER lie to fit in. I never listen to certain music,play certain sports or read anything just to fit in.I do as I like.

One thing that I detest very strongly is when I LET someone pull something over me or manipulate me.Because of this I have developed tremendous emotional intelligence and can read people really well, so every time I am talking to someone whether it's family,friend or stranger I am always trying to read them.I am very happy that I am good at reading people because it has probably saved me MANY times.As soon as I meet a snake I just disconnect myself from them or try my best to,so that I don't get a headache later down the road.

If I recall correct it was the great aphorist Lichtenberg who once remarked that to best see what kind of a character a man is, look at his mistress (and vice versa to appease the feminists).

I would say that alternatively, look to a person's favourite philosopher (or any general figure who is associated with the important things of life in some way) to see how a man is.

My all time favourite philosopher is the German Arthur Schopenhauer - the archetype of pessimism. And when (if) I grow old, I suspect that I will become a grumpy pessimistic old fart, just like him.

I am very quiet at first, but once you get to know me I can become very friendly and talkative. Many people think i'm mean and angry because I have a serious resting face.

I consider myself a positive person. I am usually happy and kind with others, generally in good mood and ready to joke and smile.
I am also very loyal with the next, and always ready to lift up those who feel down, no necessarily my friends. I'm in fact pretty selfless and kindhearted, and I don't need to be confident with someone to try to help him if he needs.
Lastly, I am full of good values I could die for.

Those were the strengths

I'm a confident kind of guy. I tend to be over confident sometimes, especially when somebody or something goes against me: I automatically feel like I'm smarter and I've already "won". In the worst cases, I could even tend to be manipulative. Fortunately I've been able to stop myself when that thing was going to happen.
I also said I'm full of values I could die for, so no wonder I always tend to start the attack when someone put in doubt that values.

Those were the weaknesses

Basically I'm extroverted and shiny happy, very open to new people getting in my life. But I've also a thoughtful and wiser side, that's actually stronger than people who know me can think.
