Currently, its just a Genjutsu variant that doesn't require eye contact. Hardly creative Kishi...
If it were up to me, it would be the opposite of Izanangi. The eye would focus around the opponent, forming a barrier. The state of existance is completely controlled within this barrier. This would be the perfect oneshotter as it would completely erase the enemy from existence.
