I was watching old Naruto episodes (Naruto 131 The secret of MS) and I noticed what Itachi said to Sasuke about being the 3rd person awakening MS.
"If you discover how to activate it you will be the 3rd person to obtain the MS including myself" that's what he said to Sasuke.

So why did he said 3rd person?

I don't think he said obtain MS I think he said with MS so he would be the 3rd person alive with MS because everyone else is dead.

I know tobi hasn't shown MS but to me tobi has MS because he has S/T and can control the kyuubi. Maybe tobi's eye is damaged and is in a frozen state.

Why did he left out Izuna & his Friend ?
Its not like he didn't knew Izuna, when he was fighting sasuke he showed em to sasuke so.....

kishi is known for his contradictions and plot holes. it is likely he didnt think of giving shisui MS until part two when it became relevant. i highly doubt they would mess up a translation of something as simple as a number.
