This is getting ridiculous, I keep coming back around every three weeks to see if Naruto is finally back to canon so I can finally have the long awaited battle between Gai and Madara, and still it revolves around a terrible arc of a second chunin exam where almost nothing is happening, literally nothing, not even a good amount of scenes involving Fu.

This is what it personally feels like to me now every time I get reminded that I am waiting for Madara vs Gai.

Soo tired of this now it's pathetic.
Im not even bothering in to watching this non cannon crap... the manga is done.. its pointless to have this stuff now... why didnt they bring this out ages ago when we might of still be interested what happened over the few years... instead of now at the end when everyone basically forgot naruto went away for 2 years

I understand stretching out a story for money, but it's getting bad. Not as bad as the fillers after Pain Arc though. I've always said they just need a Shippuden side stories cartoon. Any episode that focuses on Team 10 is going to be nearly un-watchable; I rarely turn off an episode mid viewing, but I couldn't handle it.

The first chuunin exams were canon. You can't really compare their quality.
