Lmao bein straight or gay is not a religion

:hooray::wesobi::scorps:
I'd rather not be labeled so I'll keep it at 'spiritual'.
I am an Atheist.
I believe in the beauty of life. Not the after life.
I want to live, not just exist.
I believe Religion is the one thing that holds humanity back. If you look at nearly all major wars, it nearly always has something to do with Religion. If people could just keep their beliefs to themselves when it comes to Religion, the world would be a much better place.
Isn't "spiritual" technically a label in a linguistic sense? lol
Spirituality applies to any label really. It is at the core of any belief system and philosophies so it's too broad and neutral to be deemed a label.
More people have died in the twentieth century’s secular wars than in the preceding fifty centuries of fighting combined…. No religious war in history, not all the religious wars of history added together, did as much damage as this century’s wars of nationalism and ideology.
Worldview: Lost faith in humanity.
Religion: None (Atheist)
But you also have to remember that none of those wars wore started in the name of "no religion" (and hitler was a christian) but sure stalin was an atheist, but he did not do what he did because he lacked belief in a god, he did what he did because he was a power hungry maniac, so you can't blaim atheist for what he did, because it was not what was the driving factor.
unlike the crusades that was almost intirely driven by religion.
ever heard the saying: "the only way you can get a good man to do bad things is with religion" ?
