What is your reaction to Final Fantasy XIII-2?

Same here, XIII was a fail to begin with so I don't why they made a second one. And personally, all this time spent making that junk could have been put into my FF7 remake!

Square Enix confirmed that an FF7 remake is out of the question at this point.
As they don't have enough time or money to re-create the whole world with the next-gen graphics (PS3), also because if they did re-create it then they would want to change some stuff, and you know how FF fans respond to change. Lastly, they don't want to change anyones vision of the game. In my opinion they should just leave it as it is, if they truly believe they may make it different.

The only reason FFX is getting a remake is because, it is more similar to XIII in terms of linearity, but not as linear so it's easier to re-create the world. Plus the conversion from PS2 to PS3 is more doable then the conversion from PS1 to PS3.

And XIII made a second one, because they had so much material left over from XIII, that it was enough to warrant a sequel. And they wanted to "apologize" to the fans for playing the first one. As one of the people who played the 13-2 I can say it's a massive improvement over 13.

I agree Hebi-san! XIII didn't feel good at all for me. I didn't know there were remaking my favorite, X, so really? when? wow!

They confirmed a remake last year. Some are still unsure of it being a remake or just an HD version, though. It's still in early development at the moment.
