Great series, never read the books but I can always watch the movies, they never get old.

It's a great series, it's just annoying how in every book or movie nobody believes Harry whenever he says something is going down.

I like it. I don't love it. I missed the big HP train, but I enjoy the films.

Man, Harry Potter used to be the thing back then. Not saying it's bad or anything like that, just that now it's in the past and in about 100 years, it won't be remembered as much. I mean think back 100 years and remember something popular about a book people read.

Only watched the movies and imo the entire story was just filler leading to the 6th and 7th book. Book 2 actually seemed to be canon-like, but books 3-5 all felt like total filler. Imo 90% of the story of Harry Potter was contained in the last 2 books, or last 3 movies respectively.

Just the final act isn't enough, fiction usually comes in 3 acts

Yes but the first 5 books' relevance to the last two was.... nonexistent. All the first 5 books did was show how they grew up, but had no relevance to the story's actual goal.
