What is your opinion of Third Raikage?

The third raikage seems to be a better version of his son, A. Comparing what we have seen, the third raikage's physical defense is stronger than A's. Their primary means of attack (lightning armor used in conjunction with a physical attack) are also different, with the third's attack being a piercing stab, and A's being a horizontal/vertical chop. However, the difference in their attacks is that, while A's Lariat, Raiga Bomb, and horizontal chop seem to be taijutsu attacks enhanced via lightning release armor, the third's hell stab is its own separate ninjutsu, like using raikiri while under the influence of lightning release armor. Speed wise, I did not notice any huge difference. The third raikage also has the ability to use black lightning, something that A does not.

I think that the third raikage was very strong, stronger than his son even. How well he would fare against the kage of other villages, on the other hand, is debatable.

I'll pick the second one. I think the whole "strongest spear" and "strongest defense" idea is pretty cool, and his body surely represents that of a brute. Sucks how we didn't get to see black lightning out of him though.

 

[Gold Lightning]

Top 15 in my opinion, I think he's the strongest of the revived kage's. He's a living breathing tank, to think that the strongest Wind technique in the manga was not enough to stop him, even though his entire body was covered in lighting (absolutely ridiculous).

We didn't even see his Black Lightning, so people need to stop underrating him.

Strong but in terms of Kages:

Tobirama>3rd Rai
Oonoki>3rd Rai
A>=3rd Rai
Gaara>=3rd Rai

Main drawback is his close-range nature. Looks awesome, has a cool personality. Just not to be overrated.

He has black lightning which is at least mid range
