Well, just follow the rules, that usually helps. You won't need much else but what people call common sense anyway~
That way you will probably be able to do have fun with others and talk about deep stuff!

And a hint as to what common sense is; be nice. If you don't know what that is, ask

Well then it was your mistake not reading the global rules in the beginning, but that's your responsibility, not something all too clear to newcomers, so don't worry. I think if you follow them you'll be fine.

Oh, well.. Hmm... I'm going to give you some invaluable advice here then! If you're unsure and it isn't really clear in the rules on whether you can/should do something or not, ask a moderator!

Also, I can say now that this thread is supposed to be in the chatterbox as it isn't really that relevant to the headlines for this forum(General Discussion), but these are things you learn as you go along, so no need to be too hasty, nor extreme.
