There are a lot of moments in the series that made me go "really?"
If I had I pick one, it would be the fact that this final fight is literally like 1,000,000,000,000,000 people vs. 2 (Obito and Madara) yet most of these "elite shinobi" just stand in the background and say "were all gonna die!" every now and then. Pretty much they're only role in the fight is to keep Sakura busy.
If there are only 2 villains there to fight, I don't see why Kishi would invite thousands of other shinobi into the mix for seemingly no reason.
