Should of speed blitzed baldy.

He was protecting Sarada and Chōchō.

Its all well and good saying one or both should blitz but

a) They want the Shins alive
b) They have decent eye power.
c) The kids would have been left vulnerable to the other Shin copies or adult Shin.

He wasnt in serious mode and he was trusting his friend to do the job, so it was a surprise coming from his noob friend.

So Naruto even with all his sensing was caught off guard and he let a non life threatening wound cause him to drop his guard. :bdpf:
