What is your honest opinion on the Kaguya battle

Pretty dumb to be honest. Naruto and Sasuke were basically fighting with a mindless woman and instead of watching a fight where the villain in this case Kaguya was nerfed so much they could have taken her out of the whole plot. There was no need to rush Naruto and Sasuke vs Madara and come up with a shitty conclusion of BZ stabbing him. We have already seen enough of the Juubi's power through JJ Obito and Madara. There's was no need for her listening to BZ orders and take her time to attack.

I reread it the other day and as a lone fight? It's pretty interesting. It's just distinctly un-Naruto like and shouldn't have been in the finale without more build-up (still not ideal) or without trying to develop, convert or at least understand Kaguya. Black Zetsu was the real final villain as it was his motivation and really his fight. He just hid inside his Mother who had the firepower.

Hated It. Why Kishi couldn't give Madara her abilities I dunno. He was a better villain.

I like the epic scale of the fight. I like Sasuke being rescued, Kakashi struggling to find a way to help his students, Naruto stalling for time like an absolute boss, and even Sakura managing to pull her weight. What I didn't like was:

It felt like Kaguya was overly nerfed; those Ash bones are not on the level of attack that we've come to expect. She should have had "bigger" moves. It makes no sense to alter the entire frigggin dimension and then attack with spears. She could have done so many cool things.

There wasn't enough Sasuke. While I like seeing Sasuke rescued by the same people that he'd told Naruto were expendable, I also wanted to see Sasuke shine. He really only provided his teleportation to help land the Yin Seal; the rest of Sasuke's arsenal was underwhelming in the fight, especially compared to Naruto / Obito.

BZ was really annoying. I wish he'd just been absorbed, and his panels were used to develop Kaguya through flashbacks / dialogue.
