What is your fav Zelda game and explain why

Anyway, even though I have played Ocarina of Time the most out of any Zelda game, I'm giving this to Twilight Princess. Midna is honestly my favorite companion out of any Zelda game and the atmosphere was beautifully dark .

I got 2 favs. OOT was awesome and I could easily put it at #1, but I'll keep it at 3rd place for now.

1. Majora's Mask. That was the shiz.
2. Wind Waker. My first zelda game tbh and it was a lot of fun. Would I play it again? Meh don't think so. But it deserves this spot for nostalgic purposes.

Majoras Mask > A Link to the past > Zelda > Zelda 2 > Wind Waker > Ocarina of time.

First said is because it's stands out from the rest and is way more mythological and a psychological experience for me. It's dark and depressing and is just unique from the others. A Link to the past is my fav game that has Zelda in it and because it's nostalgic. Same for Zelda and Zelda 2 but Link to the past is just better. Wind waker is also unique with it's graphics and that you're on a sea world. Ocarina of time, meh liked the music..

Hmm I'd have to go like many others here and say Ocarina of time for my all time favorite however I think Twilight Princess comes quite close in fairness.

Ocarina of time - was such a good game, story wise not to mention it was such a compelling game with the plot twists and also it was original back in the day and very creative.

Twilight Princess - Was a good re-introduction to the series after the IMO the dreadful Windwaker. The dark theme and also imaginative story behind it was quite remarkable.

Zelda OoT >= TP > SS > MM > WW

I have to admit though I did like the Majora's mask purely for it's theories of Link actually being dead.

I've finished OoT so many times, it was my best game of all time for quite some years, but looking at it now, I prefer twilight princess
