The problem is that sasuke wanted to take revenge on the leaf. As I said, itachi was trying to protect the village, if he wanted to avenge itachi, destroying the leaf is the worst he could do. As I said, itachi did the mission on his free will, and the uchihas were planning a revolution. The leaf didn't do anything wrong, but the uchihas were about to do it.

This thread had so many flaws that i don't even know where to begin. First of all, Sasuke wanted to avenge Itachi because Konoha had a part to play with the massacre. Sure it's incorrect to destroy a village full of innocent citizens, but at the time, Sasuke thought it was the proper form of punishment for them. Also if you didn't see the Itachi and Sasuke vs Kabuto fight. You notice the Konoha ninja who were in the table spoke ill about Itachi. In fact, Sasuke has a reason to be mad at them. Why? Simply because they didn't know the whole truth. It's also possible that Obito brought Sasuke to Konoha to fuel his hatred and make him his subordinate.

Now to your discussion about Sasuke. Rikerslade gave a great example about Sasuke's relationship status. Sasuke has mainly focused on revenge. How can Sasuke have time to date if secrets about his clan kept being exposed as time kept going? I bet that Sasuke would be dating someone in the village before Naruto if Sasuke didn't seek revenge against Itachi. Also you can't determine that Sasuke is homosexual because he hasn't show any signs of being aroused by males. Now if Sasuke was homo what's with your homophobia? Let him be gay. I would classify Sasuke as asexual for now.

If they didn't know the truth, It wasn't their fault. They didn't know the true, so sasuke wants to kill them? That's totally wrong. Of course konoha played a part in it, but mostly, the uchihas are the one to blame. They were planning the revolution, and itachi protected the village. If he wanted to avenge itachi, he should've firs received his brother's will, that was to protect the village.

Though now I agree with sasuke being asexual, read a comment above. This is not homophobia. I'm lazy to copy it.
