Besides the fact that Madara would be controlling it, what is wrong with this type of world? The only other flaws I could see would be if you starve to death because all the food is a dream or if you accidently walk off of a cliff in the real world because you were just walking freely in the dream world (or something of this nature)?

Provided that all of these things were accounted for (ie. The genjutsu food gave you real nutrition, or you were actually paralyzed in the real world so that you could only walk in the dream world), there would be nothing wrong with a universe where everyone simply controlled their own fantasies. There would be no opposing opinions and therefore no conflict. There would be no inequality. None of that!

You may see this as running away from your problems or giving up, but did you ever consider the word change? Madara and Obito were right about all of the world's problems. Nobody can honestly say that this world (real or fictional) does not have all of those problems. What should you do when you have a problem? If you say fight through it or get over it, then that is a stupid answer! The right answer is:
Fix the problem!!!!

Why would you choose to "be strong" when you can simply fix the problem? If you are on fire, should you just persevere through it and let yourself burn or should you stop drop and roll/ jump into some water?

Infinite tsukuyomi is a legitimate plan to end all wars and conflict. It would end all inequality. It is a solution. Solutions are not the same thing as giving up or running away. If anyone is giving up, it is you people who say that you should just fight through all your problems and just dance with happiness when your poor old grandma gets shot down in the street for no reason! This is giving up because you are just resigning to the situation without doing anything to improve your circumstances. You are just saying that changing the world for the better is a bad thing. A strong person does not resign. A strong person creates change. That is what infinite tsukuyomi is.

By a lot of you people's logic, the inventors of cars just gave up because they created change instead of just persevering and walking 1000 miles across the country. By your logic, cancer patients that get chemotherapy are just giving up because they are not letting themselves die quick and sad deaths like "strong people" do. By your logic, former slaves that fought for their freedom were weak because they didn't just persevere and let people continue beating them!

It is like I said before. A strong person does not just keep adversity! A strong person changes things for the better! Infinite tsukuyomi does that! It is a plan that a truly strong person would devise!

Solutions for the win!!!!!!!!!

I don't care, it's wrong. You're taking away their free will, they don't have a choice, you either are for I.T or against it (which your life would be taken).
---
It's not for the strong, it's for butt-hurt individuals who failed in life, yet are to much of a punk to own up to their mistakes and try to fix things. No matter how you look at it, whoever would want it, is mad salty.

Is it for the "butt hurt" per say? To this I say nay! What about the child whose parents were arrested or killed because they were suspected to have communist views? Is that the kid's fault? What about the people in the twin towers on 9-11 who were killed just because some guys didn't like America or Christianity? Was that their fault? People always want to blame the victim for their suffering. They never take into consideration things that were not in the victim's control. Heck, even Madara and Obito's suffering wasn't actually their fault. Therefore you are way off base by saying that it is only for people who make mistakes and fail.

I'm talking about the reasons for it in the manga, I don't know why you're bringing up real world problems. Even then, it's not real, so what's the purpose? It's all an illusion, you're dwelling on the past and clinging onto something that you KNOW isn't real. You're always going to feel a void in your heart no matter what, so having these illusions comforting you isn't going to help a bit. You need to move on, and suck it up like a sensible person.

The way Itachi controlled that girl for Jiriaya. The way Obito controlled Yagura, I'm sure they can make the people eat, bathe, sleep

You are saying that it is not real, but that does not matter. Your reality consists of the things that you experience. If you experience a life time of happiness and a world without conflict, then that was your reality. The terms "real" and "reality" are just subjective constructs that are conjured by humans. Provided that you don't starve or experience any of the problems I stated in the beginning, then you could experience the same joy in a dream world with your dream spouse and children as you do with a real family. It would be even better because there would be no conflict.

What is the point of sucking it up? It is like I said with the fire. Would you rather suck it up and burn or would you rather douse yourself in water?

No one said it was necessarily bad, but its wrong what he is doing. He is doing the same thing Kaguya (or whatever) did, and that isn't right because he is using power to lead to peace. You can force peace through power, but that doesn't make it morally correct. Madara's perfect world isn't going to be Naruto's, and Naruto's world isn't going to be Sasuke's perfect world and Sasuke's world isn't going to be Sakura's perfect world etc etc. He is forcing his own ideals onto people, and though he may have observed correctly, he isn't using his knowledge correctly. He stated himself that the original idea was for people to connect to each other and understand each other, well why is he not preaching this and practicing this rather than trying to change the entire world to his ideals and standards?? These people may not know they are in this perfect world, but is that right either? What if their real bodies die off in the war reality? Wouldn't logically they die off in the genjutsu reality? In the end, despite Madara's ideals seeming good...they are not. You cannot have true peace through control or through limiting free will, because eventually somewhere down the line someone will get upset at the situation and want justice or revenge or whatever.

Your also bringing up stuff that doesn't really matter. It is terrible what has happened and what continues to happen all over the world, however there is a purpose for everything and a balance that cannot be interrupted. Its a fact that you cannot know pain unless you experience it. You have to experience it without having had to endure pain before to understand that what you are going through is pain and "bad" so to speak. Or better example, the classic you wouldn't know light without dark and dark without light...Food for thought... What if....God or yourself as a spirit has set up these trials and tribulations in life as a way to help grow spiritually? Not saying thats whats happening, but you cannot rule it out as a possibility unless you understand and have knowledge of everything that will and has ever existed. Our possibilities are endless as far as why the world works the way it does, but if these things bother you do what you feel you can to help these people or situations...don't just ask why it happens.

Really living in a matrix type world is a good idea? so what happens when you're real body dies and you're basically deleted from the illusion ? that's a shitty way of dealing with problems madara is basically taking the easy way out, living in a fake world is no way to live at the end of the day its fake and basically a dream.

Then why is everyone fighting against it?

You think that just because one person thinks its a good idea he has a right to force it on everyone against their will.

That's enslavement, besides a imperfect person cannot create a perfect world, whatever world Madara creates would be flawed.

You have to be able to take the good with the bad infinite tsukiyomi is only a dream so in reality nothing us fixed your just looking away from the problem when somebody dies there dead bringing them back in a dream world is not bringing them back in reality there not there they cannot feel the joy you feel for seeing them they cant feel the happiness if you only want them there so you can be happy its selfish if madara wants a dream world he could make one with only himself there no need to force the world into your plan..fixing a problem is not going to a fake world its making the world you live in a better place running away is pretending all your problems dont exist to be in a dream world thats what runnung away is everything comes to.an end eventually what happens when the dream is over

Look at your first sentence for the answer. Madara should not control the dream world because he is part of the problem. He is exactly what he defines as man's problem. "We seek peace, yet yearn for war."
Madara said "I can feel my skin dance as I crush skulls" upon being rejuvenated.
Later he called himself the savior of the world. I don't think so.
That, and 1 mortal should not control every other human being. If we must give up all our freedom to stop wars, I'd rather not.
