Their defense is horrid
I'm from phx, so seeing Nash go to LA was hell
But in all honesty I would like to see him win a championship
Just cause he deserves a ring
But yea, I think it'll take em some time
Gasol needs to go, he's terrible in this system
Nash will help more once he's more accustomed to the team
Kobe will be Kobe
Howard needs to practice FT's like a mofo
and be more involved
But Defense is their huge problem

Their defense that's what's wrong. My man Kobe doing the best he can but is not doing enough. I never liked the idea of dwight going to the Lakers, and Gasol has gone soft.

im die hard fan as well. i think that theyre just not clicking together. theyre full of excuses right now blaming coaches and what. all this IMO could have been avoided if they acquired phil jackson when they had the chance. the traingle offense would have been perfect with this team and he has the mentality to handle this group of all stars. No they hire Dantoni who was booted out of NY because he couldnt handle melo.

I hate to say this but theyre not going to win it this year not unless they do one of two things:
1. change coaches (again) because this system doesnt work With this old team.
2. make a trade to make the system work (acquire more shooters)

But no, for whatever reason they thought they should treat a legend of a coach like trash
D'antoni is a good coach, but not a good fit for the Lakers
He's a run and gun offensive coach
Meant for a young team
Not LA with a bunch of geezers

To be honest they never really said
They told Jackson he had til Monday morning to give them his answer
Then called late Sunday night, woke him up, and told him nevermind
And they went with D'antoni instead
Phil even said afterwards that he was really thinking of coming back

Son of Dr. Buss the lakers owner ddnt want to relinquish power to Phil as fill wanted to have some say in the Lakers basketball operations as part of him being hired back..

In other words dumb pride by a brainless son who i believe should not be running the lakers..

Oh eh sounds about right. One of the things that annoy me the most about pro sports is all the bs politics that ruin the game. Sucks for Kobe I do like him as a player but never really followed the Lakers anyways.
