Being half Japanese and half English I support both of them. Neither of them will win it though. I'd say it's between Germany and Brazil with Brazil having the climate advantage. Though Spain and Italy have a good chance too.

Considering I'm from Belgium and we succeeded in qualifying for the first time since 2002, I'm rooting logically for Belgium

I doubt they are going to win though. Many people see them as underdogs, but I think we can call it already a success if we reach the final 8 or something. I reckon Germany, Brazil and Spain are again the top dogs and of them I prefer Germany.

Well given that I'm Italian, Italy. I only see 5 teams competing realistically.

1. Spain - Self-explanatory.
2. Germany - Too much depth.
3. Italy - Deep, tactical and top 3 midfield.
4. Argentina - Most superior strike force by far
5. Brazil - I consider them one of the "faster teams" in stark contrast to the first 3 who all play possession based games and Argentina is the only one that is also centered around fast counter-attacking.

My hope: Italy
My fear: Spain again
My expectations: Germany, only if they can avoid Italy.
