The PSp Go is strange. I do not know the point of it. It is'nt touch screen you have to download every thing, which is a headache to begin with, and it slides open. EVERYTHING THAT SLIDES SAY BYE-BYE. This PSp go system is dumb and a foolish waste of electrical parts.*sigh*What is this world coming to. You guys go ahead and post your pros and cons.
My only props to the system is that it is a Sony Playstation that is it.
The point is that you have a handheld without the need to carry and change games. It's simple meet to be more convenient for more tech savvy individuals. Also it been touted as a test system for future platforms that want to explore the possibility of download only systems. Supposedly there will be a time where very high speed internet speed is commonplace and people will prefer to carry portable hdd instead of cds, dvd, br etc.
The problem is that the PSPgo is just plain expensive. It's almost the same price as the ps3 slim. They' marked the price way higher then it cost to manufacture. The screen is slightly smaller then the psp-3000. Battery life hasn't been improved. Games are not significantly cheaper then retails prices. Why bother downloading a game when you can a physical copy of the same game and have the ability to resell it if you feel like it.
Slide screen is nice and attractive though. It's still nicely built. Touch screen is not needed as buttons>touch. 16gb is nice but I wish it was slightly more. Price is the main issue. Not enough to warrant a purchase of a pspgo over a psp3000.
