[Question] what is up with one peices art style

when i got into the 200s the chars started to look weird...there noses are bigger and more like triangles and there faces look alittle diffrent....whats goin on people did the staff change or somthin

I aint gonna lie One piece is awesome and the art drawing isnt well top notch(except from how they draw the females ) but the storyline, characters and the pure awesomenesss makes one piece one of the best animes out there aside from naruto that is. PS the last two Arcs werent shit who are you kidding

The Art style of every long running manga changes over time; look at Naruto's early chapters and the latest ones, you'll see the difference.

Perhaps the most jarring change in art style was Bleach's, in my opinion.

This is merely a result of the mangaka's maturing ability or changes in order to put out more manga in less time! It also expresses the growing/changing of characters.

I dunno, maybe it's Oda further trying to distinguish his characters from the norm. . Although it seems lately his art has gone more towards generic, by OP standards of course. O_O

Anyways, that's what makes One Piece awesome, his unique drawings! I'll admit it... when I first saw the manga artwork like a year or 2 ago I found it really stupid and hated one piece for a long time ( and cuz of the 4kids dub when I was a kid). Until I gave it a read and it really stood out. I love Oda's artwork.
