What would Byakugan do for Boruto? It's a weak doujutsu. He don't even know gentle fist so Byakugan would be practically useless.

How is it weak? Are you even considering the utility having a dojutsu brings regardless?

It's literally 1 of the 3 ancient dojutsu (probably the oldest). I mean depending on the user (same with the other eyes) it may be objectively weaker than the other eyes but that doesn't make it weak.

That's why i'm saying he don't really use gentle fist. Because he's not using the stance or using it as his main taijutsu style. He fights normally like everyone else.
He used Gentle fist punches tho. That's not really like everyone else.

It's weak in the term that It only give you enhanced eyesight. And kinda useless for someone that won't be using taijutsu but a katana.

Did he? But i also meant in general. Gentle fist stance don't really use kicks that's what i meant like "taijutsu like everyone else"

I agree with it being a weak doujutsu but don't you unlock gentle fist by having byakugan first? As the style revolves chakra points and such?

I dunno. I'm not saying he mains Gentle Fist style, I was just pointing out that his punches revolve around the 'form' (like the palm shape).

It seems to be more of a symbol, rather than an actual thing, if that makes sense anyway.

It does more than give enhanced eyesight.

Not to mention using kenjutsu it would be beneficial to have extended range and be capebale of seeing neigh 360 degrees field of view.

Byakugan can also follow high speed movement, not on the level of sharingan but it can nevertheless. it can identify chakra by the specific individuals it originates from, determine when genjutsu is being used, and discern certain types of clones from the real person. Its ability to see chakra is acute enough to see the chakra pathway system and the 361 tenketsu that run along it.

The utility of having one of the 3 dojutsu regardless of which one is still incredibly useful.

Byakugan alone would make him excellent in tracking and intelligence gathering. I'm not sure if all you're thinking about is combat which even byakugan is still a benefit when compared to not having it. But then again, Naruto has never been about anything other than fights.

There was like one series of chapters that actually highlighted what tracking people can do. (Kiba, Hinata, Shino, Karin). So I can understand why you'd see it as weak.

A symbol of/to what though?

All of that goes into insight though. And i don't think it can find the real one between clones if all of their chakra is split evenly(proved in part 1 when Neji fought Naruto.) You're right on the rest though.

Don't think so. Anyone can technically learn gentle fist but it's useless if you can't see the chakra points that's when Byakugan comes in handy. I also think because of being hyuga they have it easier to release chakra out of every point with precision.

So there's literally a scar showing that his original eye got cut in half, but I'm supposed to believe that's Boruto's own Byakugan? LOL GET REAL.
