What is this sharigan ability? Genjutsu or something else?

He didn't preform genjutsu, its like byakugan when looking at a person and looking at their chakra. Only the sharingan can see chakra and movements, and etc. Sasuke saw the foxes chakra:

yeah i understood that, but they used genjutsu and once I noticed Orochimaru tried to use it on the 3-tails i was confused

Orochimaru doesnt have doujutsu to see the kybuui though
