Well, you can say a team from each if you like.

Part 1 would be probably Team Gai. I say that because as far as strengh went they were stronger than Team Kakashi. When you think about it, Naruto beat Neji through willpower. Not saying Naruto doesn't have strength, but Neji just got screwed by the fact that Naruto is the main character. Rock Lee saved Naruto from Kimimaro, and Naruto is appearantly stronger than Sasuke if you count Rasengan vs Chidori.

Part 2 would be Team Kakashi then. Naruto got way better and Sakura does more than cry all the time...well, more than part 1...and hey, having someone like Sai on your team is pretty useful.
