...after the war, it seems that there will be no threats to the leaf or the world after Madara/Kaguya get defeated, so whats the point of him wanting to become hokage, we know it's his dream but he will not be needed to protect the leaf if there aren't any enemy to get rid of.

There will always be another threat, that's one of the world's many problems, and peace doesn't come easy and you have to work to maintain it, that is why he wants to be Hokage, to protect his friends.

If it were possible for there to be two Hokage, Hashirama would have done it, its not a position that was ever meant for two people, its the top of the chain of command.
