Kpop is to Korea as pop is to English-speaking countries. It's the exact same thing as every other form of pop music: atrocious

Obviously you haven't looked at many kpop mv's. I'm not saying that you have to like it but the reasons you give for disliking it are not factual. Have you even seen the boy groups, have you seen ballad, have you seen all the mv 's?
Do you know that unlike some countries (I'm not hating or anything like that) they train for an extreme amount time before they debut as a Korean idol (hopefully you at least know that kpop stands for Korean Pop). Before you judge maybe you should do your homework.
Sorry I'm not trying to be hateful, maybe you're genuinely curious as to why foreigners like to listen to Korean pop/Korean hiphop etc., but the reasons you gave for not liking it didn't seem justified to me. It's not always about love (B.A.P Badman is an example) they're not always in skimpy outfits (any 2ne1 videos), I'm assuming you're referring to just the girl groups here.
As you probably know I'm a kpop fan so I got really defensive, so I'm sorry if I ranted a bit.

I like K-Pop, it exists because koreans also have pop music? I think the songs that you are talking about are the new mainstream k-pop mvs. Do a little more research find some bands that don't do that, not all K-pop is how u describe it.
