Title question.
For me it would have to be the original beyblade. Awesome soundtrack (though a bit cheesy), decent plot (it's overlooked because of it's 'game' status), positive message of friendship and sportsmanship and VERy lovable main characters who all get very good character development as they each have an arc which develops them. Yes, I know it was purely a marketing strategy but they are very good story writers and you cannot disagree with that
By the way, I'm talking about the original; V-Force was nothing compared to it (though wasn't all bad); G-Revolution took half the series to get to its peak (but when it did it trumps even the original). The metal saga is a complete disgrace, please don't even mention it in this thread.
Of course there's a possibility that nostalgia is clouding my judgement but oh well, haters gonna hate; what are your underrated anime/manga that you like?
