what is the defensive potential of kuramas chakra cloak?

in naruto's fight against orochimaru, we saw its inability to be penetrated by the sword of Kusanagi, one of the great swords in narutoverse. not sure if nagato's chakra bars was able to penetrate it but when naruto came out of the cloak he had no injuries. now, with a lesser cloak of chakra, it was able to protect hundreds or thousands of people from two extremely powerful fire type attacks and the juubi's attack as well.

how powerful is this cloak? it this another ultimate defense? or just a great shield?

no its not the ultimate defense in the newest chapter there was a panel of some shinobi saying that the sand attack with narutos chakra wasnt strong enough against the new more powerful Juubi. The cloak does heal wounds 10x more quickly then normal though

Actually the sand was only containing the Juubi (Stopping it from moving) The cloak wasn't attacked by the Juubi, but don't take this the wrong way I still think the Juubi can tank Naruto's cloak.

But it's is interesting the cloak was able to stand against the fire techniques of both Madara and Obito that itself if quite the feat when you think about how strong the fire type actually is since Uchiha's have a natural strong fire type.
