What is the best Pokemon? (Zaney)

My personal favorite is Leaf Green/ Fire Red

But there is no doubt that Crystal (and it's remakes) are better.

What's your favorite and what do you believe the best is?

I don't have a favorite Pokemon game, I enjoy all of them very much.

I really like Diomand/Pearl. Team Galactic>all other teams, and the plot was better than all the other games.

My best and favourite pokemon game has to be a 3rd gen one, and probably Fire Red, and i say this as a dude who played Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Leaf Green, and Fire Red.

Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald > Black and White > Platinum/Diamond/Pearl > Heart Gold/Soul Silver > Fire Red/Leaf Green > Black and White 2

Rse beats BW because of the music and the starters. Shame the rival's starter never fully evolves. Haven't played X or Y.

The plot in Pokemon is usually pretty bad (story line wise) but I still thoroughly enjoy the games. Pearl had a lot more interaction between characters and extra things you had to do.

Leaf Green and Emerald were my childhood.

Yet to beat Black&White and Black2&White 2 and X&Y, but FireRed, Emerald, Platinum and Heartgold are all great and I simply just can't decide.
But I prefer Johto and 3 years later Kanto, so FireRed in terms of location, story, pacing and so on isn't anything special.

Therefore it's still Emerald vs Platinum vs Heartgold and all of them are very unique.
3rd gen is very outdated when it comes to gameplay, but the music, Pokemon, story, characters and environments in Emeralds are just good.
While Platinum has better gameplay, but just "ok" music, yet still good Pokemon, story, characters and environments.

So I guess the winner is Heartgold because it has everything and then some. Note, that I'm yet to beat B&W, B2&W2 and X&Y

B/W is the best game imo. The storyline is just amazing, up to the point that I compare all other games to it and think "The storyline's still not as good as B/W".

Emerald and SoulSilver, I love the Johto and Hoenn regions.

Best Pokemon is Arceus, most overpowered is Blaziken, although theres alot more..
