For me its Sword Art Online. Never has the start of an anime made me feel so hyped for the upcoming journey.....

Horror. Outright spooky, mysterious, what just happened type horror. It's why Mirai Nikki, Shiki, Higurashi and Another all rank in my top 10 list. As for others, it really depends on my taste.. SAO's was great so was Noein's.
But Shinsekai Yori and Steins Gates' beginnings didn't captivate me at all yet they're solidly placed in my top 5 with Shinsekai actually being my Number 1.

And the art is extremely weird :lol but if you have the patience, it touches on interesting concepts regarding time as a whole. I give it an 8.9736 mostly because i wanted nore from the ending and they really should have done better with the graphics.

Brotherhood's episode was good, but my major problem with it is that it removed some power from the biggest twist in the series: that in fact the entirety of Amestris is formed to be like a Transmutation Circle.
