[Discussion] What is the best age to play instruments at?

I think it's the best to start young, around 8 or 9, but you can learn to play an instrument at any point in your life. I'm currently learning to play the drums, and try to teach my self guitar...

The earlier the better but any age is alright. I started when I was 14.

I'am 13 at the moment.
That's why i'am curious abour this topic, got a starter electric guitar at the moment.

Preferably a young age. 7-8, even sooner. If you start later, you will keep getting the feeling that you are to late to start on anything, even if there's still plenty of time. At least that's how I feel about it.

I only have the feeling that i cant learn anything, its really depressing at some times.

I dont get how 5-9 year olds usualy learn to play with masters(hired by their parents) waste of childhood IMO...play piano in a cold room , when other kids outside are running around and enjoying their lifes.

I'd say 15-18 is the best age to start any instrument , since then you have some life experience and it makes you more creative.

But some people like Beethoven or Mozart where Pure Geniuses , that happens maybe once in a thousand years.

Know your limit is best advice and know there is room for improvement.
