its the strongest uchihas clan defense, it varies in different sizes, depends on the level of the ocular jutsu that the uchiha possess at the current moment. each susanoo carries a blade, suske as the exception carries both blades and arrows. each blade can seal an opponent however only itachi of the akatsukis have shown that ability with his susanoo, the better the ocular jutsu the greater the susanoo capabilities.

Susanoo, also known as the Tempestuous God of Valour (勇武の荒神, Yūbu no Aragami), is the third ability granted by the Mangekyō Sharingan to those who awaken the abilities: Tsukuyomi — which symbolises the "darkness of the spiritual world" and Amaterasu — which denotes the "light of the material world". It creates a gigantic, humanoid being that surrounds the user. we dont know, because we have never seen that before, however if someone should seal a susanoo user while that just was activated as an defense for them, it would take the opponent a considerable amount of chackra to do so.
but susanoo can be broken/DESTROYED IF YOUR PHYSICALLY STRONG, LIKE A OR TSUNADE. look at my signature for an example of the 2 people who i am talking about.
