A division created by the people and the governments amongst the people, based on religion/skin color. However, it is filled with contradictions.

I'm fairly certain that a race is a little challenge where people compete against each other to see who can do what before the other can.

Or it's something along the lines of what you stated.

I agree with the gist of this but you didn't clarify. Race is not accepted by most biological institutions of science because "race" is not real. Genetic variation dictates that variation is equally distributed in non-african continents regardless of your sociology ascribed "race"

This has nothing to do with "race". It has to do with outside factors such as geographic location and disease distribution. The most common example of this is sickle cell anemia.

What differences?

Mainly appearance differences, different amounts of melanin, different facial structures, eye colors, due to small mutations. Still minuscule to the fact that we float on a rock surround by infinity and fight over stupid shit like that.

Oh, then I was thrown by the misuse of "adaptation" in the post.

That's pretty much what I said. It's still debatable because it all depends on how you define race. If a person already defined race based on geographical distribution and culture (e.g. what they eat) rather than the idea of 'race', then the person wouldn't really be wrong in saying race affects medicine.

I don't think that's quite accurate.

I remember learning about how each "race" have unique qualities in their blood.

So say if a white person went to the hospital and needed a blood transfution, they wouldn't use a black person's blood and vice versa.

So Natives, Asian, Black, Hispanic, and Whites all have their own blood transfers from their own race unless if they had mixed blood in them in the first place.

"Our extended blood type is determined by the presence or absence of various membrane-bound sugars and proteins inherited from our parents. Most blood groups follow simple population genetics, meaning their distribution tends to be clustered in similar racial or ethnic populations."
