What is Pain doing in these panels?

Sorry for all the threads today but I need answers.
Kakuzu was about to finish Asuma and take him for bounty, then Pain interrupted and told Kakuzu and Hidan to hurry back. But Pain is all the way in the Hidden Rain, but Kakuzu and Hidan are near Konoha. And Pain is talking out loud, so it's not telepathy. So what the hell is this? How is Pain communicating with Kakuzu and Hidan all the way from the Hidden Rain?

But in reality, the Rinnegan isn't only about the paths. It's supposed to be a tool to give the user extreme mastery over different types of jutsu. I mean Nagato is the reason that the 30% clones were made and he made the trap that copies the person who pulls it (you really do need plot on your side to beat that lol)
