how is this relevant to close range combat? I'm merely suggesting that the abilty to wield amaterasu in the hand give saucy an advantage in close combat. I'm not comparing rasenshruiken to amaterasu

Naruto's cloak was able to withstand the Chin Tenpa (spelling off) from the Juubi wich was literally an extremely over powered version of Kirin.....not only that, but his chakra was already seen resisting fire, and his chakra connection to other people was also able to resist the Chin Tenpa.

Naruto has also been seen capable of blocking three swords at once.


I'd say for the most part he should be able to block it and then expel that chakra from him to keep Amaterasu from burning his chakra cloak constantly...unless he has enough to convert it into a set of armor.

If it weren't for those, I'd agree when saying he might not be able to withstand the cut....but seeing he has these, I'd say he's capable.

people with his cloak withstanding chin tenpai is actually not a positive for using chin tenpei as you attack of choice. If the attack was more focused such as kirin, i feel it would have greater destructive power

Oh, you're talking about the cutting power, not burning. My bad. It might be able to cut through (KCM chakra arms haven't exactly been tested on cutting). However, Naruto could use this.

He can't grab the edges of the blade, where it's sharp, but he can grab the flat of the blade to stop it. Take a look at this scan and pretend Naruto's using chakra arms instead of his clone's hands.

Well if remains to be seen if Naruto's chakra arms can withstand amaterasu fire (I say no). or naruto passing through it considering its fire so the blade will just stop in his hands and the be remade the second he lets go considering it doesn't burn him

I'm saying this sword cuts through chakra arms if in close combat, and speed can't be your answer considering you don't justify it. you just say speed and that won't help when actually engaged in combat with someone how can with his bare hand wield an enton sword

It wouldn't withstand them, but it would last long enough to by hims some time.
