Some mysterious couple let's people explode when attacking certain people or villages. Very nice animated episode and gory too in a good way. This is how naruto was during zabuza arc

This episodes and the upcoming episodes are adapting the Sasuke shinden novels. Well, not really since they are basically skipping a lot of details and making irrelevant scenes with fanservice which aren't present in the novels but the main story/route is still there. If anyone wants a little more in-dept detail about the novels, i recommend reading them instead of watching these episodes since they basically skip the whole point of this pre war/the last skip.

Then next Sasuke to show his eye power and see the same type of eye (sharingan) glare back.
That is when Sasuke was reading the zombie eye.
