You make it seem like gaining mokuton is something anyone can do while people have not survived certain death in rediculous ways throughout the series. Ao is at best tied for the most ridiculous survival of a giant explosion along with Sasuke and his great snake escape.

Lol making me wonder why gaining Wood Style was so strange when it was never explained in the series to begin with. Hashirama having wood style has no connection to Ashura, or the Senju Clan. Otherwise his Clan members would have been able to replicate it (Tobirama or Tsunade), and Naruto (or Ashura himelf) would of shown having the potential to utilize it as well.

It was never really explained, whereas Ao survived a blast we know he should of died in.

This is common sense, and neither of these are shocking.

It was explained to be a rare justu Hashirami unlocked that uses both water and earth style together that you can't just learn. In reality it is about as rare to a senju as the rinnegan is to an Uchiha and is what made Hashirami so OP. No fodder like Moegi should be able to use it unless she got a hold of Senju dna.

It was never stated that Wood Style was a rare jutsu, it was just that you need Earth and Water natuers to actually have a foundation for it. But the level of difficulty was never specified. Nor did the narrative explain how Hashirama obtained it, which is the problem too.

Plus she doesn't even seem to have any techniques he used anyway. It's definitely a random ability, but one we don't understand at all. So it makes sense why it would come back randomly, especially with the lack of Senju relatives alive.

I wouldn't be surprised if Moegi turns out to be some kind of distant ancestor or some shit, considering how they never explained what happened to the Senju.

In the original manga everyone tried to control the power of Mokuton and make it theirs, Oro even experimented and sacrificed many children in the process only to fail with Yamato and suddenly Moegi has mokuton. Nobody even gave a shit about Moegi in the original manga.
