You reminded me of something. Iulius caesar lost the power in Rome many times, yet at 44 years he was still upthere on the throne attacking Britania.
One of the things he kept doing to make people follow him was the greeting where he would firmly shake the hand of his discussion partner and easily drawing that person towards him. This created a feeing of attractiong and dependency on the partner

Peace definitely. This summer I almost lost a friend because of soem complications but I finally owned up to my mistakes and now we're starting over. I want to be able to be his friend without any conflict whatsoever

I speak from experience, I was annoyed by someone and instead of just walking away from it I felt I couldn't do that so I tried to do something about it and it did not end good at all, it just created endless more problems.
