what is more earned SM or MS

Sage Mode, in reality you have to go through intense training weeks/months of trying to stay still to be able to feel nature chakra, then you have to go through the process of perfecting the sage mode without turning into a frog... ect Sage mode is more earned you have to put yourself through alot more to get it than ms. Anyone who says otherwise is a ms fanboy.

Actually if you think about it for a second, ms takes longer to get because of 1-3 tomoe sharigan but yeah you don't have to risk yourself getting turned into a frog.

i thought of this from the base naruto thread.

people wanted to beleave base naruto isn't jonin level.

well got me thinking MS is a power up.

is sasuke base lvl higher then naruto base lvl.

right now i say there are close to equal but i feel naruto is better.

If you consider 3 tomoe sharigan base mode Sasukes is way stronger. If not they're pretty even.

SM is harder to achieve and you have to have an incredible amount of chakra. If not the natures energy will take over you easily. Also from 2 people getting it only 1 was able to master it.

Still MS, you have to loose some one close to you.
Kakashi and Shisui achieved mangekyo, but it is a mistery how they did.

To gain MS you have to unlock 1st 1-3 tomoe sharigan and then mangeykou you have to suffer a lost and rlly feel the pain. This isnt fake pain that you can just put upon urself. So I say mangeykou.

No you don't. You have to suffer an emotional lost. Sasuke gained MS after learning the truth about Itachi.

I can't say it's clear cut....as my guy above said you have to work longer and harder to get MS. And yes with SM you risk turning into a frog stone, but that's just the risk of using it not part of the training. As the same can be said about the 1t...because to get it in most cases one needs to be in high danger, but it don't stop there the MS drains the user and makes them go blind. While SM gives the user strength and speed with no other down falls.

So I say MS

Training to up your chakra levels if you aren't naturally gifted like Jiraiya and Naruto
Training to remain still and gather sage energy at the risk of turning into a statue
To use MS you have to
Have Sharingan
Undergo the mental distress of loss of a loved one by natural death or you kiLing them


I'd say its emotionally harder to kill a loved one and physically harder to remain perfectly still. I give MS cuz few have the heart to slaughter someone close.

What is more earned? Depend what you mean by earned. To get the MS someone close to you has to die. Sage Mode is more of a training process. Even though technically the MS is too but to actually unlock it is through great emotional stress.

well its not easy to learn SM, because there is a risk that you will turn into frog statue if you messed up even once, naruto in the other hand have it easy since he has fukusaku as his teacher,

so overall SM is definitely earned than MS
