What is Kishi going to do with Kabuto now?

I'm certain he didn't have him escape the izanami loop just to heal Sasuke. I think one of several things will happen:

Scenario A:

The final battle is nearing its end. Madara, Sasuke, and Naruto are all exhausted and chakra-spent. Orochimaru, being the sly devil he is, sneaks in at the last minute and takes over Madara's body using the rebirth ritual. Orochimaru now gains all the powers that are associated with being a juubi jin.

Since Naruto and Sasuke are so exhausted from their battle with Madara, it will be up to Kabuto to stop his former master. Kabuto has Sage Mode, which is the weakness of Juubi Jins. We've also seen so little of his Sage Mode arsenal, so it's a great possibility we will get to see some new jutsus. Also, there's a chance Obito will help him since Juubi Orochimaru is probably too much for Kabuto. While Kabuto (and maybe Obito) are fighting Orochimaru, Sakura is healing Naruto and Sasuke, and giving them chakra. Obito and Kabuto will eventually start to be overwhelmed, and when all seems lost, Naruto and Sasuke finally recover and save the day.

Pros of this scenario: We will get to see Kabuto at full power with the intent to kill, and see all of his cool Sage jutsu. We get to see the theme of Kabuto surpassing his master. We perhaps get to see Obito and Kabuto fighting together, since they've been paralleled (they were allies at the beginning of the war, and now they are still allies, it's just they both switched to the good side.) Sakura will do something useful too.
Cons of this scenario: Madara has already been hyped up to be the "ultimate villain" and so it will seem like a bit of an asspull, like Kishi wanted to drag on the manga.

Scenario B:

Spoiler

The final battle has ended. Naruto and Sasuke are extremely weak, but Madara is dead. Orochimaru sneaks in and tries to take over Sasuke's body with his rebirth ritual. Since Sasuke and Naruto are too exhausted to do anything, it will be up to Kabuto to carry on Itachi's will and protect Sasuke against his former master.

Just like in Scenario A, there's a chance that Obito will come to assist Kabuto to save Sasuke (maybe Team Taka will help too?)

Pros of this scenario: Same as Scenario A, except there's the added bonus of Kabuto carrying on Itachi's will.
Cons of this scenario: Same as Scenario A, except there's also that Kabuto is way stronger than Orochimaru, so Oro will need some sort of power-up to make a decent opponent for Kabuto.

Scenario C:

Spoiler

While the final battle is going on, Obito comes back to our dimension and Orochimaru takes over OBITO's body, and gains Obito's powers (which include the one rinnegan in Black Zetsu.) Orochimaru will then try to go to Sasuke's location to get the other Rinnegan from Sasuke.

It will be up to Kabuto and Team Taka to stop Orochimaru.

Pros of this scenario: Same as in Scenario A and B, except Kishi won't be dragging out the manga since this is going on at the same time as Naruto and Sasuke are fighting Madara, so it will be more of a side battle. Also, in this one KAbuto and Orochimaru (who has Obito's kamui) will be at roughly the same power level, so Oro will be neither too strong or too weak.
Cons of this scenario: We won't get to see Kabuto and Obito fighting together.

Whether Scenario A, B, or C occurs, there are a couple of things I'm fairly certain will happen.
-Orochimaru will take over or try to take over an Uchiha's body
-Kabuto will have to fight against his former master
-Kabuto and Obito will fight together (except for Scenario C)
-Obito will die
-Kabuto might die

Please give me feedback and say which scenario (if any) you like the best!

Of course not , I think is pretty clear that he will end up fighting Oro , don't know if it will be after the war or during , I also think he will help defeat Yamato .

He should help defeat Madara , but since Kishi will probably make NardoSause do it alone , I guess he won't .

One thing is for sure : his character is not done .

No, Kaguya will be ressurected, and she will be assisted by Madara, or Kaguya will show Madara how to awaken her power but either way Orochimaru is going to make a move of some sort he has nothing to lose really... and Kabuto has no evil intentions thanks to lord Itachi so he will either assist in battle with sasuke or battle someone else depending on the future no garuntees on anything though

All of scenarios were basically the same, concerning that you already know Oro intentions.

I personally believe he will be putting his old plan to good use to help the war instead of benefiting himself:

1. Using Sasuke body to unlock further power.<--This part is done, he wanted to take over Sasuke and have his power. Now he is using it to help the war.

2. Using the poison he created to deal with Mokuton enemies[

]. This drug was very important in Kabuto's arsenal and it only had one panel. It should have more considering Zetsu is still an enemy.

So basically, he will playing the supportive role.

Prior to Kabuto's reappearance, I was hoping for him and Anko to tag team to take down Orochimaru, but due to how he apparently just left Anko back in the cave, I guess that won't be the case...

There is the possibility of Orochimaru not actually doing anything devious at all. If Orochimaru doesn't do anything, though, then I can't see Kabuto doing much else in this war aside from playing medic. I hope that isn't the case though, because I do want to see him do more things. Can't really see him and Orochimaru being that relevant after Madara's defeated though without it feeling like it was just tacked on there.

Since he was one of the key factors in starting this war, even though he's my fave villain, I don't really want to see him survive it. He can potentially reunite with his brother who is supposedly on the battlefield so that way their reunion can happen beforehand without him needing to actually return to the orphanage though.
